The Fabulous Bubbe Photoshoot Takes You from Long Island to Miami

From gated communities on Long Island to gated communities in Boca Raton, our beloved bubbes have style down to a science. Though Heeb was created by and for young Jews, the second ever issue paid homage to an older generation of Jewish excellence––namely, the glamorous grandmas we all know and love.
The Heeb Vault is a weekly email series featuring subsversive Jewish content from the early 2000s, originally published in Heeb Magazine.

“Life is a celebration! And you have to have a sense of humor. My kids come first and foremost, and now my grandkids. I’m a bubbe trapped in this body! We’re healthfully enmeshed as a family. Be who you are, say what you want, and then see who shows up the next day.”

Broken Sound Gated Community, Boca Raton

Sandra Stone wears Claude Sabbah pantsuit, shoes by Ann Taylor.

“I have a husband, sure. But this guy is really my stallion.”
